Nutrition
Australian red meat has an important place in a healthy diet. It provides many important macro and micro nutrients and because of its leanness does so without contributing excess fat. Commonwealth Health Department guidelines recommend we eat red meat 3-4 times per week. This is especially recommended for girls, women and athletes.
MLA's nutrition programs work to educate consumers of the health benefits of eating red meat and to conduct research to support these claims.
